Summer arrives in the Club Lounge

26 April 2019

Our summer menu launches in the Club Lounge this week, bringing some new dishes to complement your old favourites. We have taken the decision to move from four to two menus per year – one focused on the summer season and the other on winter.  The menus will not change markedly, but we will be looking at changing a few items each time to reflect different tastes during the warmer and cooler weather. As an example, the new summer menu will feature a new “Salad of the Week”, to run alongside our other popular salad options (Caesar, Protein and Warm Halloumi & Falafel).

We will continue to offer a Daily Special on most days, created by our team of chefs and very often based on cuisine that they feel passionately about. We are always on the look-out for new Daily Specials, so if you have any dishes that you would like them to create, please do pass on your ideas.

The kids menu format has been changed, allowing you the ability to “build your own meal” from a choice of mains, sides and vegetables. So hopefully you can design a meal that your children will eat and enjoy! And don’t forget our fruit pots – for adults and children alike. Summer fruit is one of the treats of the season!

We have introduced a few price increases on the new menu, but the majority of items have seen no price increase and we remain committed to offering freshly prepared food at competitive prices. Don’t forget that you have the option of pre-booking food to eat in or take away so that it is ready for you when you have finished your class or come off the court.

Finally, the outdoor sun terrace is now well and truly open and obviously food can be eaten al fresco – please just tell the team when ordering. Hopefully we will see a continuation of the early summer we experienced over the Easter Weekend. If you are sunbathing on the sun beds outside the swimming pool, you can also order drinks at the bar but please tell the team as only plastic glasses can be taken into this area for obvious safety reasons.

We hope you enjoy summer at the Club!
