Class Descriptions


BODYPUMP is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Our instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.



BODYATTACK is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, and leaving you with a real sense of achievement.



BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up those calories. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.



CXWORX exercises muscles around the core and provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favourite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together. All the moves in CXWORX have options, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. During the 30-minute workout trained instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. You will also get into some hip, butt and lower back exercises.



GRIT SERIES offers three different 30 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts that build cardiovascular fitness, while improving strength, building lean muscle and maximising calorie burn. Whether, you are in a GRIT Strength, Plyo or Cardio class you will soon become addicted to the amazing results they can achieve.



BODYBALANCE – Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE™ is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centered and happy!



LBT is a low impact sculpting and fat burning class focusing on all those problem areas. Incorporating classic body weight moves such as squats and lunges, our instructors will lead you through an effective lower body and core workout, giving options on the way to suit all levels of fitness/ability.



ZUMBA is a dance class guaranteed to get your heart pumping and get you moving to the South American Latin rhythm and beat music. If you love dancing why not join the class and get fit at the same time. A class that is great for all levels.



Gently Active is a low impact class aimed at those wanting a less intense workout, incorporating easy to follow lower intensity moves to music followed by a functional strength and conditioning section. This class is suitable for all ages (male and female!) and is particularly enjoyed by some of our older members however is ideal for any age group. It provides a fun and enjoyable full body workout and is ideal for those new or returning to exercise.



AQUA is a great way to improve fitness and muscle tone. The water provides an atmosphere of safe resistance for aerobic conditioning. This class is perfect for the fit, pregnant, and/or joint-sensitive individual.



CIRCUIT is a simple but very effective class that incorporates strength and cardio into one workout. No coordination required and suitable for all levels, you will target all muscle groups for a full body training session and be ready to break into a serious sweat.



Club Towers GROUP CYCLE offers a high energy class featuring great soundtracks with motivating instructors taking participants through a mixture of flats, hills and sprints while burning calories all the way! Our fantastic purpose built Group Cycling studio makes this an experience not to miss.



PILATES is a superb dynamic full body stretch and deep core workout, which hones in on postural muscle groups and develops overall toning and strength.



YOGA is the essential body and mind experience.  Our instructors will work hard to make you feel good with the very latest in anatomy and breathing techniques and offer a range of classes to suit all ability levels. View our class descriptions here.



GYM FLOOR WORKOUTS provide our members a chance to work out in groups on our Omnia Rig situated in the gym. Add in the Skillmills and Watt Bikes and you have a circuit guaranteed to get you working hard. Our dedicated Personal Trainers will tailor the classes to meet the needs of participants and this is a great way to introduce yourself to some new pieces of kit, different exercises in Gym and of course other members.



JUNIOR CIRCUITS is time for the kids to have their own fun! Junior circuits is a class for 12-15 year olds to come and experience the start of their own fitness journey. Whether they are currently involved in sports or not this will give them the perfect opportunity to increase their fitness and have a bit of fun at the same time.



FAMILY CIRCUITS has been put together for you and your children to enjoy a workout together! Learn off each other and help each other develop in this fun and rewarding class.
